Established in 2018 and located behind the New Kapiri Mposhi Railway Station in Zambia, Central African Corridor Company Ltd (CACC) operates the Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) Dry Port which acts as a logistics hub for both eastern and central corridors. Our strategic location within Zambia allows for the direct connection of cargoes to and from the port of Dar es Salaam using the railway line.
The town of Kapiri Mposhi is a major transportation hub for cargoes going to and from Lusaka and the Copperbelt. The Dry Port is situated 200km north of Lusaka and 120km south of Ndola and stands on the Great North Road acting as a significant hub for the railway connection for TAZARA.
The four (4) hectare land inside the Tazara Dry Port has a gantry crane of 36 MT lifting capacity, warehousing for storage of different commodities, modern equipment used for loading and offloading bulk and containerized cargo as well as a heavy-duty large capacity weighbridge for trucks.
CACC is a fully independent company registered in Zambia. CACC is owned by APCH Group company and CHC Commodities a Zambian agricultural sector company able to provide reliable and accountable storage and handling facilities and credible brokerage services for bulk agricultural commodities.
CACC is connected to DSM Corridor Group Ltd (DCG) in Tanzania to provide end to end terminal solutions from DRC and Zambia to FOB in Dar es Salaam. We provide services for suppliers and traders.
